Degree in Sociology from the University of the Basque Country in 2005, PhD in Sociology from the University of the Basque Country in 2013. In 2006, I took the University Specialist Degree in Migrations and the Master’s Degree in Social Science Research “Models and areas of research in social sciences”. Subsequently, I completed my doctoral thesis under the supervision of Benjamín Tejerina, with the title “Crossed gazes: analysis of the social distance between the immigrant and autochthonous population based on a scale of otherness”.
The lines of research in which my activity is developed are mainly focused on social analysis linked to the needs of different social groups and, in particular, those in situations of social exclusion, urban sociology and migration. I also develop different research activities linked to the projects developed in the research group “CIVERSITY, city and diversity” http://civersity.net, in which I am a researcher.
